OTIDs are the One-Time Identifiers that new students and employees use to create their uniqnames. MCommunity generates the OTIDs and sends them to incoming Ann Arbor students and to incoming staff hired through eMploy. OTIDs are 10-characters long. Students and staff enter their OTID, along with other information, on a website that lets them create their own uniqname and UMICH Kerberos password.
