Workshop Description

This hands-on workshop shows how to make summary fields, which can count, average, total, get standard deviations and more. We will also learn how to create summary reports, including those with grouped data and calculated fields. Because reports are generally just another "layout" in FileMaker Pro, and we are working with our data all the time, we must learn to Script—automate—the steps to creating reports and save them to allow for returning data to the condition needed to run reports. We will also talk about defining buttons to perform Scripts.
