How do I add an e-mail meeting proposal into my Exchange calendar?

Outlook (Windows)

  1. In your Inbox, click on the e-mail message and drag it onto the Calendar icon (bottom left of the window).

  2. When you let go, a new appointment will open with the email message in the notes area.

  3. Set the start and end dates/times of the meeting.

Entourage (Mac)

  1. In your Inbox, select the e-mail message.

  2. Under the Tools menu:

    1. select Link to New.

    2. from the pop-out menu, select Calender Event.

  3. Create a new meeting and save it.

  4. To view the link:

    • in the e-mail message, click the link icon.

    • in your calendar:

      1. double-click the meeting.

      2. in the meeting window, click Link in the tool bar.
