We use the anti-spam solution Brightmail to tag suspected spam. However, you must create a rule that will direct the tagged mail into a folder of your choice. If your system administrator created your account, you are probably already set up.
To create your own rule:
Brightmail does not need to be trained to filter spam.
You can also join U-M's Do Not Spam list which helps eliminate spam before it arrives at the University's e-mail servers. More anti-spam information is available at Spam Busters. Please note that another University resource — SpamBox — does not work with our Exchange service.
