Table of Contents
MPrint is a web-based application that allows you send documents to U-M printers from your personal computer or mobile device. MPrint accepts documents via upload or a variety of external services (Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, and MFile IFS/AFS) and will convert the document, if necessary, before submitting it for print. MPrint is available on printers across the university, including Campus Computing Sites and MiWorkspace.
MPrint supports the following file types, but the preferred type is PDF (Portable Document Format):
.ai, .bmp, .c, .cpp, .csv, .doc, .docx, .eps, .gif, .h, .ico, .jp2, .jpeg, .jpg, .m, .odf, .pdf, .php, .png, .pps, .ppsx, .ppt, .pptx, .ps, .psd, .py, .rtf, .tif, .tiff, .txt, .xls, .xlsx, .xml, .xps
MPrint’s Locker feature allows a user to upload a document quickly and easily for later use. Once in your Locker, a document can be sent to any available printer via the MPrint web application.
Enabling the Locker feature will create a folder named “MPrint” (if it does not already exist) in the selected eligible service (Box, Dropbox, or MFile IFS/AFS). All documents uploaded to the Locker will be placed in this folder. You must first enable one of the eligible services to enable the Locker.
To check your print account balance, log into the MPrint - Usage page.
