Subject: MCommunity Update: Sponsor System Released to Departments
Hello U-M IT Staff,
The MCommunity Sponsor System is now available for use by U-M sponsorship administrators. Administrators can use the system to sponsor people—such as wireless users, temporary staff, contractors, and others—and get uniqnames for them.
If you would like to become a sponsorship administrator for your department or unit, please read this documentation to learn the responsibilities of, and requirements for, the role and fill out the application form contained in it:
The ITCS Accounts Office will continue to set up sponsorships for units on request. To request a sponsorship, use the sponsorship application forms on the ITCS website.
