The university has negotiated a Campus Agreement with Microsoft Corporation that allows the distribution of commonly used Microsoft products at significantly reduced costs. U-M departments have collectively purchased licenses for these products. Students, faculty and staff can purchase Microsoft products at great savings for use on their personal computers as long as they are performing university business.
The campus agreement is in effect from December 1, 2010 through November 30, 2013. Campus-licensed software is coordinated through Information and Technology Services (ITS) Software Licensing and Distribution.
