Personal Use: University faculty and staff may request a complimentary home-use copy of Mathematica to install on their personal machine by filling out the online request form. Please contact for the University's license number. Please use a U-M Online Directory ( address when applying for this license. We will verify your status and provide the license number you'll require to fill out the form.

Student license available for personal machines for purchase at the U-M Computer Showcase.

Cost: Mathematica for departmentally owned computers is funded by a license consortium of U-M departments. The consortium currently includes: Dearborn Campus, Flint Campus, Ross School of Business, College of Engineering, ITS, Medical School and LSA. If you are a member of one of the departments in the consortium, you may contact your department's software administrator for a copy of Mathematica for your computer, or you may purchase the software (and documentation) on DVD for $10 from ITS. Other departments may join the consortium. An order form is provided below for departments desiring to order up to 8 licenses. Please contact if you wish to license 8 or more machines.
