A suite of tools to help system administrators manage desktop and server computers. It runs on a variety of operating systems including Windows and Macintosh computers. The University has been focused on three parts of the BigFix suite:

  • Power Management - provides a way for you to push power setting to computers, and to monitor the overall power usage of computers.
  • Patch Management - allows you to push software fixes and patches to computers. Prepackaged patches/fixes are delivered by the company on a regular basis; this helps reduce your efforts.
  • Unified Management Platform

Who Is Eligible: Products may be installed on U-M owned machines

Endpoint Protection is perpetual.

All other products are an annual license based on a March 31 expiration date.
